Christopher is an English MA student at Wilfrid Laurier University who spends quite a lot of his time writing up lesson plans to try and convince his first year students that Literary Studies is not a self-perpetuating, redundant field.
His specialisation is in the "natural home" women, queer, and other minorities are finding in contemporary magical realism. He branches out into most post-WWII British fiction, but his heart is always drawing him back to contemporary mythology and magical realism.
Christopher is a fan of the ironic passive voice, and holds onto his baroque writing, despite being castigated for it by his otherwise very lovely peers and faculty advisors. Christopher is stubbornly anti-Canon based in leftover Marxist ideology informing his socialistic tendencies.
